Fran entered the world quietly on a busy harvest morning on September 21st, 1939, the ninth child born to Karol and Patricia Yaworski.
In 1945 she started her education at Curwood School, eventually making her way to Drahomanow School. In October of 1950 her family, which at the time consisted of mom, dad, sisters Alvina and Marie, and brothers Michael and John, relocated to the Spalding area, where Frances attended Kingscourt School.
In November of 1959 Frances found a full time job at the Quill Lake Hospital, and later at the Melfort Hospital. In 1969 she graduated from the Kelsey Institute with her Certified Nursing Assistant Diploma, completing her practicum in Melville. After working for a time in Prince Albert, Frances moved to Saskatoon where she spent the rest of her career working in the Children’s Ward of City Hospital until her marriage to George in 1974.
Fran and George were married December 28th 1974. Their 40th Anniversary was celebrated with loved ones December 28th, 2014.
Many of Fran’s family and friends were blessed to receive the beautiful handwork of her crocheting and knitting. When she was no longer able to do that she enjoyed Sudoku and Seek-a-Word puzzles, as well as spending many enjoyable hours of reading.
Fran is survived by their chosen daughter Carla Lyn, born April 5th, 1978, and blessing their home with her arrival on October 24th, 1978.
