

Judy completed high school in Esterhazy then attended college in Yorkton for business.
Judy moved to Fort Mcmurray in 1965 where she met Woody and they built a happy life together.
They resided on Vancouver Island for many years before moving to Saskatchewan in 2001.
During Judy’s lifeline she worked as a bookkeeper and managed offices for construction companies, The legion and various businesses. In her early years Judy taught swimming lessons and was a usher at the theatre.
Judy loved to garden, cross-stitch, sewing crafts and canning the bounty from the garden. You could find Judy making cards for her friends and loved ones either cross stitched or made lovingly with photos and researched pictures to suit the occasion. Judy counted everything from pounds of tomatoes picked to how many trick or treaters came to the door.
Judy and Woody had many adventures throughout their lifetime together, fishing , gold mining, exploring the backroads of British Columbia and Saskatchewan. Driving across the country to and the United States with Spike.
Judy was predeceased by her loving husband Arthur “Woody” Lacey . She is survived by her daughter Bambi Barnes and Son Berton Barnes.
