Michael Richard Cote is survived by his children Jazz William, Aaliyah Kyla, Thieron Courage, Thiesyn Mikelle and Milayna Violet-Rose; special niece Kiara Dawn; parents Garry Nicotine and Zelda Cote; partner Tayanna McArthur; siblings Lara (Brett), Amber, Shawn (Chilly), Sharice (Quinton), Iesha (Trey), Garry, Junior and Kayla; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Michael is predeceased by his niece Starshine Cote; nephews Richard Cote and Colton Cote; his brother in-law Carlyle Gopher; best friends Lance Buglar and Trick Armstrong; mother in-law Shelley Kishayinaw; great-aunt Rosie Keshane (Coco Rosie); uncle Earl Cote; grandmother Vera Sauvie; and Brent Cote.
A funeral service was held on Thursday, June 30th from the Glen Keskotagan Memorial Hall in Red Pheasant Cree Nation at 11:00 am, with interment following at the Battleford Cemetery in Battleford, Saskatchewan.
