Peter leaves behind to cherish his memory his special friend Anne Whetter; his children: Ray Winterhalt, Cecelia (Don) Weinkauf, Ann Mary (Peter) Fauth, Ron (Wanda) Winterhalt, Elaine (Bill) McArthur, Avellino (Elizabeth) Winterhalt, Barbara (Michael) O'Brien, Greg Winterhalt, Ida (Randy) Russnak, Linda (Marvin) Fauth, and Paul (Cathie) Winterhalt; 24 grandchildren; 32 great grandchildren; brothers Frank, Nick, Joe, and Ted Winterhalt; as well as many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his parents Phillip and Catherine; brother Mike; and sister Magdelena.
Funeral Mass for Peter will be held on Saturday, May 14, 2011 from Notre Dame de Lourdes Roman Catholic Church, North Battleford, with Reverend Father Gerard Legaspi. Interment will take place at the City of North Battleford Cemetery. Donations in Peter’s memory can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to a charity of the donor’s choice. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Kristeen Nylander of Sallows and McDonald Funeral Home.
