This is the story of Andre L. Toro. Andre was a wonderful man that was loved, is missed, and will always be cherished. Our “Andy,” as he liked to be called by his family and friends, was an amazing father, son, nephew, cousin, etc., was like no other.
Andy always listened to people, never left anyone out and had a real passion for making those around him smile. A very descriptive and great story teller, he could command anyone’s attention and was a natural born comedian.
He was a very caring and compassionate person, and always put the needs of his daughter, Charlotte, above anything else.
Over his lifetime, Andy’s home was Charleston, SC.
It was here he could spend countless weekends with his family and friends. Swimming, laughing, cutting up, and enjoying the company around him. He had a true appreciation for people, his family, and his faith.
It was the simple things around him in life that he never took for granted, commenting daily how fortunate and thankful he was. Above all, Andy was absolutely devoted to fatherhood. Charlotte is his greatest achievement in life and crowning glory.
He was a father who always involved himself in every detail of his daughter’s life and provided unconditional support to ensure her needs were met. He was a man of strong faith, believing in the power and strength of Jesus Christ’s love and the beauty and peace that would await him after his passing.
