I have the best memories of Anitra prancing through the halls of school giggling on Wednesday mornings hanging up "Hump Day" notes with the craziest looking camel on them. Her dedication to the faculty and children of our school was unparalleled. She was always trying to make the cafeteria a fun place to be. She got the biggest kick out of pranking kids on Halloween and her holiday decorations were always a highlight for us all. Bonfires at the Munz' home also come to mind when I think of Anitra and the tales she would share around the fire always has us all laughing so much. She was a character for sure and I will miss her dearly.

I'm so sad for Anitra's family. I worked beside her for 13 years at SFI. I'm pretty sure she was the first one to open the door at the school. One of the hardest working woman I ever knew. So dedicated. I would tease her and tell her to put a cot in the storeroom and just stay there. She was one of the best cooks I know. I wanted to stay with her until she retired but I couldn't make it. Peaceful rest Anitra.

Nitra and I had so many great memories. I live in Michigan and I used to come to South Carolina in Goose Creek every summer from June thru September to stay with my dad and maxine. From the day I met Anitra we became instant friends, we were about 9 years old . She would be waiting for me when I got there and she stayed with me until I had to leave in September. We spent every summer going to the beaches, the stock car races, Isle of Palms, water parks...we were Besties !! I will miss her so much , she was loved by so many! Such an amazing person with a heart of Gold..her entire family are just amazing , wonderful people. RIP my friend, I will never forget you!

I worked with Anitra at SFI school . She was the first person I got to know and she became a great friend as well as our daughters. She was a very kind person always helping someone in need. She always had a nice word to say and was a hard worker. I regret not keeping in touch with her once I no longer worked there but I have great memories of our time together. I'm so sorry she had to go through this but I am glad she is no longer suffering and has gone on to a better place.
