Annie Janette Parker (Ann) 86, of Goose Creek, widow of Charles B. Ward, went to be with her Lord, April 13, 2018 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born in Commerce, Ga, the youngest of four children of the late George Parker and Leila Belle Hayes Parker. Ann was a member of Journey Baptist Church (previously known as Gospel Light Baptist Church). She enjoyed gardening, cooking, canning, sewing, ceramics and making people feel welcome. Ann was a determined woman, dedicated to her family and devoted to her husband for 64 years before he preceded her in death. Ann was a Christian and very active in her church until her health began failing.

The relatives and friends of Ann Ward are invited to attend her funeral services on Monday, April 16, 2018 at 12 o'clock at CAROLINA MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, burial will follow at the Carolina Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 11:00 am to 12:00 noon at the funeral home.

She is survived by her daughters: Patricia Ward Allen (Tim) of Gainesville, GA, Reba Ward of Lexington, SC, Connie Ward Lichty (Les) of Flowery Branch, GA and Charlotte Ward Mixson (Chris) of Goose Creek, SC, and eight grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren.
