Barbara Ann Edwards

Barbara Ann Barefield Edwards, 71, of Goose Creek Passed away on August 19, 2014 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born on February 20, 1943 in Prattville, AL to Leamond Barefield and Ola C. Turner Barefield. She retired from Santee Cooper in 2008 after 23 years of service. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She is survived by her husband, retired ( HTCS ) U.S. Navy William “Bill” L. Edwards of Goose Creek; two daughters, Cheryl L. Steele (Rick) of Goose Creek and Cathy E. Murray (Steven) of Moncks Corner; one brother, Bill W. Barefield (Pat) of Prattville, AL; three grandsons, Dylan Steele, Griffin Steele of Goose Creek, Brandon Murray of Moncks Corner, and one granddaughter, Caroline Murray of Moncks Corner. The family and friends of Barbara Edwards are invited to attend her memorial services this Friday August 22, 2014 at 5:00 p.m. at CAROLINA MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME chapel. Interment will be private.
