Billy Fowler, a proud veteran and retired Navy Marine, passed away at the age of 86. Born in Lumberton, North Carolina, he served his country with distinction in the Vietnam War as a Gunners Mate and was awarded a Bronze Star for his bravery. Billy was a long-time member of the Fleet Reserve and after retiring from the military, he owned and operated a successful locksmith company.
Billy will be remembered by his brother Harold (Mary) his children Christina (Christopher), Linda (Matthew), Jeanette (Dave), Gregory (Felicia) and his 8 grandchildren Christopher (Sabrina), Nicholas, Amelia, Joseph, Davis, Luke, Alistair, Josselyn, and great granddaughter Gianna. He lived a life filled with hard work, determination and a strong commitment to his community.
Billy will be deeply missed by all who knew him, but his memory will live on through his achievements, both in his military service and his civilian career. Rest in peace, Billy Fowler, and thank you for your service to your country and your community.
