Brenda W Thomas
May 14, 1949 – February 22, 2021
Brenda W. Thomas “Nana”, 71 of Moncks Corner, SC passed away on February 22, 2021 after a long battle with chronic illness. Service will be held on Friday February 26, 2021 at the Carolina Memorial Chapel. Visitation from 1:00-2:00 PM. Funeral service from 2:00-3:00 PM. Service Chaplin Ms. Debra Green of Jacksonboro, SC will be conducting the service.
Brenda was born in Charleston, SC on May 14, 1949. She graduated from Garrett High School in 1967. She loved the Fighting Falcons! On November 2, 1968 she met the love of her life Cliff. She always said that “First kiss did it!”. From that point onwards they were inseparable. They were married on July 12, 1969 and have been together over 52 years!
Brenda retired from the Federal Government with 35 years of dedicated service. She is survived by her husband Clifford Thomas, Jr. of Moncks Corner, SC. Predeceased by daughter Marcia Lynn Thomas. Survived by her son Clifford Thomas, III of Moncks Corner, daughter-in-law Christy, and granddaughters Kelsie and Haylie. Survived by son Chad Thomas of Moncks Corner. Predeceased by parents Alex and Margie Wise of Hanahan, SC. Survived by sister Tammie Merritt and brother Chuck Wise. Predeceased by sister Donna Ayers.
Loved and cherished by all her family, friends, and BFF Sally Cannady.
