Carol was born in North Charleston, South Carolina on September 24, 1970. She was the daughter of Harold and Carolyn Peagler.
Carol had a zest for life and a heart full of love. She was happiest surrounded by her family, friends, and her beloved French Bulldogs, Willie and Waylon. Whether fishing, lounging by the pool, or riding on the back of a Harley with her husband, she embraced every moment. Her favorite place was near the water, and her greatest joy came from her grandchildren, whom she adored deeply. Carol never met a stranger—her warmth and generosity touched everyone she encountered. The world is undeniably a little dimmer without her light.
She is survived by her loving husband, Brian Edward Walters, with whom she would have celebrated 12 years of marriage this August; her children, Kevin Dustin Peagler of North Charleston, Nicole Marie Walters-Lantz (Kristian Lantz) of Hinesville, GA and Christianne Mae Walters of Summerville, SC. She also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren, Addison Mae Carpenter and Trent Eugene Walters, both of Hinesville, GA; her brother, Harold George Peagler, Jr. (Victoria) of Charleston, SC; mother in law, Bonnie Walters of Michigan; brother-in-law, Brent Walters (Rebecca) as well as her nieces and nephews, Brandon Peagler, Bradly Peagler, Brooke Langley, Caylee Peagler, Parker Walters, Anastasia Walters, Evrett Walters and Keller Walters of Michigan. Carol was preceded in death by her parents, Harold George Peagler, Sr. and Carolyn Lee Peagler.
The family would like to give special recognition to Carol’s dearest friends, Tammy Trussell, Maree Smith & Betty Hoffer, who stood by her side and offered unwavering love and support. We are forever grateful for her compassion and care.
Carol’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
Arrangements by CAROLINA MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 7113 Rivers Ave., North Charleston, SC 29406.
