Mrs. Charleen A Dumont

Charleen A. Dumont, 74, of Mt. Pleasant, SC, entered into eternal rest August 24, 2023. Her funeral service will be held Wednesday August 30,2023 from 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm at Carolina Memorial Funerals & Cremation, 7113 Rivers Ave., North Charleston, SC 29406. The family will receive friends from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm prior to the service

Charleen was born February 9, 1949 in Berlin, NH. She is the daughter of the late Joseph Aube and Frances Nolet Aube. After a career in the insurance industry, Charleen enjoyed spending time with her family and her beloved dog, Sadie. She attended St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church and cherished the friends she had there.

She is survived by her son, Derek Dumont (Kelli) and grandsons, Brady and Colby, of Mt. Pleasant, S.C.; two siblings: Mark Aube of Berlin, NH and Linda Shea of Portland, ME; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Charleen was preceded in death by her husband, Robert A. Dumont and brother, Darrell Aube.

We are thankful to the caregivers at Atria Mt. Pleasant, who provided Charleen with exceptional care over the past few months.
