Charlene Adkins

In loving memory of Charlene Guercio Adkins, 74, of Johns Island, as she entered into eternal rest on the sixth day of October 2023. Born on the 18th day of October 1948, Charlene was a mother, sister, grandmother, wife, and aunt who always put everybody else first. A very active member of Bethany United Methodist Church, who gave her whole life to the Lord and Savior. Loved by so many, Charlene left a piece of her self with everybody that she has ever met, LOVE. Regardless, of who, or where you were from, she always showed compassion and care to a soul in need. A real Christian, who loved everybody. Someone who will truly be missed by everybody she has ever met, a genuine magnet for hope. As I write this, I feel none of the words will do her justice, because they won’t. Nothing that can be said, will articulate how impactful she was to the lives around her, and how loved she truly was. I love you, Nana forever and always.

A memorial service at Bethany United Methodist Church for Charlene will be held Wednesday, October 11, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM located at 1853 Maybank Hwy, Charleston, South Carolina 29412. A visitation at Carolina Memorial Funeral Home will follow Wednesday, October 11, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM. The interment will take place thereafter at Carolina Memorial Gardens at 3:00 PM.
