A Viewing will be held from 6:00 – 8:00 pm, on Thursday, September 10, 2026, at Carolina Memorial Funeral Home, 7113 Rivers Avenue, North Charleston, SC 29406.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am, on Friday, September 11, 2026, at Carolina Memorial Gardens, with Bishop Eliceo Ramirez officiating.
A private burial will be held at a later time.
Clara was born in Aguacatitlan Edo, Mexico, to Toribio Estrada Gomez and Consuelo Catarina Sotelo Figueroa on August 12, 1969. She married Adolfo Acevedo Ibarra on June 14, 2013, in Cabarrus, NC. Clara was an entrepreneur and business owner.
Clara was president of Las Lupitas FC – Soccer City, where she, alongside her husband, traveled for many successful tournaments.
Clara is preceded in death by her father, Toribio Estrada Gomez; her mother, Consuelo Catarina Sotelo Figueroa; and her daughter, Jessica Estrada.
Clara is survived by her beloved husband of 13 years, Adolfo Acevedo Ibarra; her sons, Edgar Estrada, Erubey Bautista, and Adolfo Acevedo; her daughters, Clara Acevedo, Camila Acevedo, and Guadalupe Acevedo; her grandchildren, Kiara Acevedo, Myra Jessica Estrada, Edgar Adan Estrada, and Olivia Da Silva Acevedo.
