Cynthia was born in Charleston, South Carolina to the late Eugene and Agnes Williams.
She was a loving wife, devoted to her late husband, Glenn Horne, of 62 years. She retired from NAVFAC, Naval Facilities Engineering Command as head secretary. She loved history and enjoyed working as a tour guide at Boone Hall Plantation. Cynthia loved the Lord with all her heart and enjoyed serving him as she was the Organist at Midland Park Methodist Church for 25 years. She also enjoyed gardening, shopping, and watching Hallmark movies with her grand dog Buddy. She cherished the time spent with her family and friends.
She is survived by her daughters Angela Horne and Glenda Horne of Moncks Corner and son Kevin Horne of Moncks Corner and adopted daughters Gaylene, JoAnn, Pam, Jamie, Trish and Stephanie.
Cynthia was preceded in death by her brothers Floyd Williams, Marion Williams and sisters Ruth Varner and Betty Teller.
Visitation will be Saturday, July 31st from 6 to 8 PM at Carolina Memorial Funeral Home, 7113 Rivers Ave. North Charleston, South Carolina with a Life Celebration service Sunday, August 1, 2021 at 11 AM at Carolina Memorial Funeral Home. Interment will be immediately following service next to her husband Glenn at Carolina Memorial Park.
