

All Funeral services will be held at Carolina Funeral Memorial Home on 7113 Rivers Ave, North Charleston. The family will receive friends for visitation on Friday, June 25, from 6:00 pm until 8 pm. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 26 at 1:00.
Donald was born August 18, 1938 in Green Sea, South Carolina, son of the late Gary Neal Miller and Addie Sarvis Miller. After graduating from Green Sea High School, he served in the United States Air Force. After a long career at the U.S. Customs, he retired as a Customs Inspector after 42 years of government service. Donald was also a licensed producer for State Farm Insurance where he worked with his daughter, Laurie, during his retirement years. Donald was a member of the Mount Pleasant Omar Shrine. He co-founded the Omar Shrine Keystone Kops Unit. He was also a member of the Summerville Masonic Lodge. He enjoyed life to its fullest. He loved his family, children and extended family. He loved his farming and country life. He enjoyed riding his Harley Davison motorcycles and driving his various automobiles.
He is survived by his loving wife Janeen and his loving children; one son, Jeffrey W. Miller of Bonneau, SC; two daughters, Donna Miller of Goose Creek and Laurie Miller Lempesis of Charleston; step-sons, Dustin Johnson (Renee) and Brett Johnson, step-daughters, Barbara Avendano and Betsy Johnson, a brother, John (Catherine B) Miller of Younges Island, SC; two sisters, Liz Lathrop (Tom) of Oriental, North Carolina and Linda Ball (Buddy) of High Point, North Carolina; sister-in-law, Eileen Miller of Ravenel, SC and four grandchildren and five step-grandchildren and five great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was predeceased by his parents; three brothers and two sisters-in-law, Jack and Verna Miller, Douglas and Jane Miller and Michael Miller.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Omar Shrine Children Hospital, Greenville, SC.
