A visitation will be held from 6:00 – 8:00 pm, on Tuesday, November 3, 2026, at Carolina Memorial Funeral Home, 7113 Rivers Avenue, North Charleston, SC 29406.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 am, on Wednesday, November 4, 2026, at Carolina Memorial Funeral Home. Burial will immediately follow at Carolina Memorial Gardens.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Kermit Mullinax; her siblings, Lewis, Catherine, Odessa, Darcus, Francis, Ene, and LD.
Dorothy is survived by her children, Alan (Laurie) Mullinax, Kathi Cope, and Sharon (Ed) Dertien; grandchildren, Kert (Darcie) Mullinax, Brian (Betsy) Mullinax, Reed Cope, Doug (Virginia) Dertien, Sam Mullinax, John (Alex) Mullinax; great-grandchildren, Tucker, Kam, Katie Grace, Brooks, Lillie, Annie Banks, Maddie, Mason, and Myla; and her brother, Roy Linwood Knight
