Dorothy Roth Smith

Dorothy Roth Smith passed away on March 11, 2017, in SC. A graveside service will be held on Friday, March 17, 2017, at 1:00pm at Carolina Memorial Park. Dorothy loved to read, mostly Guidepost Magazines and other books, she enjoyed listening to old hymns, loved the beach of Panama City, FL, and to listen and watch The Lawrence Welk Show every Saturday night at 6:00pm. Among her favorite things were puzzle and coloring books, boiled peanuts, coffee, ice cream, Whitman's candy, and Lay's potato chips. She also loved the Lord, and attended Free Will Baptist Church sometimes in Panama City, and Central Baptist Church. She also attended Gospel Light Baptist Church whenever she visited with her family who lives in the area. She was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin S. Smith; her sons, Gilbert Allen Smith and Barney Smith, and four brothers,Wiley Morris, Elwen, Brownie Morris and Colvin Morris and parents Frank and Nellie Morris Left behind to treasure her memory are three children, Julie Homer (Joe), Kathy Corbett (Jasper), and Charles Smith; 6 grandchildren, Becky Infinger, Jennifer Smith, Deanna Smith, Jamie Smith, Phillip and Dallas; and 7 great-grandchildren, Alyssa Joy Alderman, Anthony Alderman, Jennifer Infinger, Lane Infinger, Deanna and 3 grandchildren in Ohio We will all miss her, we know she is in Heaven, a better place
