Earl H Goodell

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Earl H. Goodell, who passed away on July 29th 2026, at the age of 93 in North Charleston, SC.

Born on September 30th 1932, in Bristol, Tennessee, Earl was the beloved child of James and Mary Goodell. Throughout his life, He was known for his kindness, generosity, sense of humor, strength, etc. Earl touched the lives of everyone who knew him.

Earl dedicated his life and served in the US Navy . Earl found joy in fishing and trying new local restaurants and created lasting memories with family and friends.

Above all, Earl cherished his family. He is survived by his loving wife, Connie Goodell Perry; He leaves behind his stepchildren, Sinclair Perry, Sunny Perry & Anissa Perry; grandchildren, Alina Perry & Markel Spells; and many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends who will forever treasure his memory.

Earl was preceded in death by His mother, Mary Margaret Goodell Couch; His father, James Lewis Goodell Sr; Brother, James Lewis Goodell Jr; & his beloved son, Earl Goodell Jr.

A committal service will be held on August 7th 2026 at Carolina memorial gardens 7113 RIVERS AVE, NORTH CHARLESTON, SC 29406

Though Earl is no longer with us in person, his love, laughter, and legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew him . He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
