Eduardo Garcia Escobar

Relatives and friends of Eduardo Escobar are invited to attend his Mass of Christian Burial at 4:00 PM, Wednesday, April 1, 2026, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 510 St. James Ave., Goose Creek, SC 29445. Following the mass, the family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM, at Carolina Memorial Funeral Home, 7113 Rivers Ave., North Charleston, SC 29406. Flowers will be accepted or memorial donations can be made to a charity of your choice.

Eduardo was born in Hidalgo, Mexico, on November 13, 1955. He was the son of Juan Walfre Garcia Rueda and Josefina Escobar Lopez. Eduardo worked as a plumber; he was hardworking, noble and fair but also supportive, caring and generous. He enjoyed cooking for his family and watching soccer games. His favorite teams were Cruz Azul and Pachuca and he loved the colors blue and white.

Eduardo is survived by his daughters, Jaqueline Garcia Chavez (Jose Antonio Rios Perez), Dulce Monserrat Garcia Chavez (Fernando Salgado), Celene Metrejean (Ronald Jose Metrejean) and Alma Daisy Garcia Chavez (Eddy Torres) and his son, Milton Carlos Garcia Chavez. He also leaves behind his grandchildren, Sydney Gargia Mora, Melani Garcia Cruz, Milton Carlos Garcia Cruz, Nitzumy Jaqueline Rios Garcia, Donovan Rios Garcia, Edward Alexander Salgado, Aylina Grace Salgado, Arianna Salgado, Ronald Jose Metrejean, Jr., Elena Maria Metrejean, Anais Carreno, Simmon Carreno and Ethan Torres. He was preceded in death by his wife.
