Edward Leonard Zubritsky

Edward is survived by his wife Lucille of 65 years and four children; his daughter, Maureen and husband Curtis and their two children Megan and Matthew; son, Eddie and his two children Edward and Katelyn, daughter, Michelle and husband Jeffrey and their three children Ashley, Britney, and Lauren; daughter, Marion and her three children Edward, Austin, and Andrew; and, four great grandchildren Madison, Rowan, Vince, and Eli.

Edward served in the United States Navy. He was a member of the Elks for 60 years. Edward and Lucille moved to Clinton, Connecticut in 1962 where they raised their four children. Edward was a Q.A. Inspector Manager at General Dynamics where he worked for 30 years before retiring. Edward and his wife then moved to Goose Creek, South Carolina in 1986 where he started working on movie sets. One of his proudest accomplishments was working on the movie Titanic. Throughout his career, he worked on many movie sets in addition to construction upgrades on Disney Cruise ships.

A gathering of friends will be held on Thursday, August 14, 2025, at Carolina Memorial Funeral Home, 7113 Rivers Ave., North Charleston, SC 29406 from 1:00-3:00 P.M. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Heart Association.
