He was born on February 12, 1952 to Eulalio Galang Sr. and Estella Parino Galang in Pampanga, Philippines.
Eulalio is survived by his wife, Mira Martinez Galang; his two sons, Jasonric and Jess; grandchildren, Evan and Victoria; and siblings; Dolores Trompeta, Eduardo Galang, Linda Mendoza, Napoleon Galang, Ramon Galang, Amelia Miran, and Maria Lilibeth Edano.
Eulalio was married to his eternal love, Mira Martinez Galang, whom he met at the age of 17 and later married on January 9, 1977.
He loyally served in the US Navy for 20 years, since enlisting in 1973 and serving 10 tours until his retirement in 1993.
Eulalio and Mira immigrated to the US in 1977, being stationed at NAS Norfolk, Virginia. Eventually, they settled and established the home for the family at Charleston, South Carolina in 1981, where he lived out his joyous life.
From there, he helped create a loving network of friends that became the second family to supplement the already strong family ties to those in the Philippines, who also eventually immigrated to the US.
He was a devoted husband, loving father, affectionate grand-father, warm-hearted son, caring brother, and an always smiling friend. One of his many memorable moments was when he would spread joy to all during Christmas when he played the role of Santa Claus for the family and friends’ Christmas party, ringing his bell in his pillow-stuffed Santa outfit and distributing gifts to all the young kids. This was the epitome of who he was, where he brought happiness to those all around him. His legacy will live on forever in all those who knew and loved him. He will be missed! May he Rest in Peace.
