Evelyn was born on September 24, 1936 in Mobile, Alabama, to Allen U Sullivan and Stella Manning Sullivan.
She is survived by her daughters Kay (Wesley) Wicker, Barbara (Paul) Hardy and Cynthia Schuster, Granddaughters Allison (RJ) Walker, Mara Wicker and Mary Elizabeth Wicker, Great Granddaughters Riley Walker and Olivia Walker, Brothers Wesley Rumbley and Auston Rumbley and many nieces and nephews.
Evelyn was predeceased by her parents, husband Frank,her brothers Winston, Terry, and Johnnie and her sister Pearl.
She was an award winning gardner and avid birdwatcher. Evelyn volunteered for many organizations including the Charleston Museum,the Girl Scouts, the National Highway Safety Council and many others. She was past president of the Pilot Club of Charleston.
A Celebration of her life will be held on August 12, 2024 at 11:30 am at Carolina Memorial Funeral Home, 7113 Rivers Ave. North Charleston. Inurnment will be private.
