

Born on February 27, 1947, Frank was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and proud veteran whose life was marked by service, strength, and dedication to his family and country. He will be remembered for his quiet courage and steadfast love.
Frank began his military career in the United States Navy and later joined the Air Force retiring with the rank of Staff Sergeant. During his military career, he served two tours in the Vietnam War and was honored with the Vietnam Service Medal with two Bronze Stars, the National Defense Service Medal, and The Air Force Commendation Medal for his faithful and courageous service to his country.
Outside of his military service, Frank had a passion for technology and was known by family and friends as a Mac pro who could fix almost any computer problem put before him. He also loved playing tennis, RC planes, and listening to music from his era, finding joy and comfort in the songs and memories that defined his generation.
Frank was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Faine Prather; his father, Willie Eulia Prather; and his sister, Mary Yvonne Lee.
He leaves behind his loving wife, Carla Hilton Prather; his daughter, Yvette Prather Oliver (Tony); his granddaughter, Emily Reynolds (Dylan); and his cherished great-grandchildren, Grayson Tisdale, Daniel Williams, and Easton Reynolds.
Frank’s life was a testament to honor, perseverance, sacrifice, and devotion to family. He treasured the time spent with those he loved and leaves behind memories that will forever be held close in the hearts of his family and friends. Though he will be deeply missed, his legacy of love and service will never be forgotten.
