Frankie Rodman

Visitation will be from 2:00-3:00 pm on Saturday, July 18, 2026, at Carolina Memorial Funeral Home located at 7113 Rivers Ave, North Charleston, SC. Funeral service will follow at 3:00 pm. Burial will be at 4:00 pm at Carolina Memorial Gardens.

Frankie was born in Chester, SC, to the late James and Carrie Spence on October 16, 1932. She attended Chester Schools. She married Rodert C. Rodman on October 13, 1948, in Chester, SC.

She graduated from Farrahs Beauty School in Charleston, SC and was the owner and operator of Frankie's Beauty Shop in Goose Creek, SC for numerous years.

She loved working in her flower garden, taking in many stray pets, attending church and Bible studies.

Frankie was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Rodman; her daughter Bobbie Mayle; and siblings, Gracie Gaston, Roy Woodell, and Thurmond Woodell.

Frankie is survived by her children, Judy (Ray) Haynes of Polk City, FL, John (Faye) Rodman of Albany, GA, and Linda (David) Mizell of Ridgeville SC; grandchildren, Stephen Roberts, Robert (Becki) Platts, Michelle Carollo, John Rodman Jr. and Joseph (Sydney) Rodman; many great and great great-grandchildren; niece, Barbara Reid; and nephew, Ron Woodell.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Metro North Church, 109 Central Ave, Goose Creek, SC 29445 or to the pet shelter of your choice.
