Gary Duane Dalbec, 74, of Mt. Pleasant entered into eternal rest on Sunday, December 14, 2014. Gary was born on March 29, 1940 in Mandan, ND to Duane Ellsworth and Virginia Leech Dalbec. He honorably served his country in the US Air Force. He retired from Parks Auto Parts in Mt. Pleasant. He was a member of the American Legion Post #136 and a regular member at the VFW Post #10624. He is survived by three sons, Duane Edward “Butch” Dalbec (Amanda) of Geddo, MI, Gary Duane Dalbec (Sherry) of Mt. Pleasant, and David J. Dalbec(Coleen) of Port Huron, MI; two daughters, Deanna Artman of North Charleston and Tracy Rogers (Don) of Phoenix, AZ. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, December 18, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. Visitation will take place one hour prior to the service.
