George Orville Tvedt

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, June 24th, 2021 at 10 o’clock at Carolina Memorial Park, Funerals & Cremation located at7113 Rivers Avenue, North Charleston, SC 29406. 843-797-2222. Flowers will be accepted.

George was born on December 14th, 1927, in Byron, Minnesota son of the late Clarence Tvedt and Lydia E Williams. He taught HVAC for 10 years at Trident Technical College and retired as Director of Utilities from the Naval Weapons Station. George was a generous man who was always willing to lend a helping hand.

Survivors include: one daughter, Georgianne Hilton (Robert) of Elgin, SC; one son, Paul Tvedt (Terry) of Madison Heights, VA; four grandchildren; ten great grandchildren and one sister, Shirley Wiseman of Shakopee, Mn.

In addition to his wife and parents, George was preceded in death by two sons, Walter Stanley Tvedt and Bruce Allen Tvedt.
