

Gerardo fue un hombre de gran fortaleza y espíritu emprendedor. Con determinación, emigró de México y fundó una exitosa empresa constructora. Su dedicación y trabajo duro fueron pilares fundamentales en su vida.
Más allá de sus logros profesionales, Gerardo fue un padre ejemplar, amoroso y siempre presente para su familia. Su cariño y guía dejaron una huella imborrable en sus seres queridos. También disfrutó enormemente de sus nietos.
Le sobreviven su amada esposa, Liliana Bernal; sus hijas, Brandi Magaña, Stephanie Magaña y Cecilia Magaña; su hijo, Christopher Magaña; y sus queridos nietos, Elijah, Ezra, Jaiden y Hendrix.
La misa funeral se celebrará el viernes 9 de mayo de 2025 a las 16:00 h en la Iglesia de la Inmaculada Concepción, ubicada en 510 St. James Ave., Goose Creek, SC 29445. El velatorio se realizará en la Funeraria Carolina, ubicada en 7113 Rivers Ave., North Charleston, SC 29406, el sábado 10 de mayo de 2025, de 11:30 a. m. a 3:30 p. m., donde familiares y amigos podrán reunirse para presentar sus respetos y compartir sus recuerdos. Gerardo será enterrado en Carolina Memorial Gardens el sábado a las 16:00 h.
El fallecimiento de Gerardo deja un profundo vacío en los corazones de quienes lo conocieron y amaron. Su legado de trabajo duro, amor familiar y perseverancia perdurará por siempre.

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Gerardo Magaña, who was born on May 24, 1966, in Masos, Mexico, and passed away on May 6, 2025, in Charleston, South Carolina.
Gerardo was a man of great strength and entrepreneurial spirit. With determination, he immigrated from Mexico and built a successful construction company. His dedication and hard work were fundamental pillars in his life.
Beyond his professional achievements, Gerardo was an exemplary, loving, and ever-present father to his family. His affection and guidance left an indelible mark on his loved ones. He also greatly enjoyed his grandchildren.
He is survived by his loving wife, Liliana Bernal; his daughters, Brandi Magaña, Stephanie Magaña, and Cecilia Magaña; his son, Christopher Magaña; and his beloved grandchildren, Elijah, Ezra, Jaiden, and Hendrix.
A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, May 9, 2025, 4:00pm at the Church of the Immaculate Conception, located at 510 St. James Ave., Goose Creek, SC 29445. Visitation will be held at Carolina Funeral Home, located at 7113 Rivers Ave., North Charleston, SC 29406, on Saturday, May 10, 2025, from 11:30 AM to 3:30 PM, where family and friends may gather to pay their respects and share their memories. Gerardo will be laid to rest at Carolina Memorial Gardens on Saturday at 4:00 PM.
Gerardo's passing leaves a huge void in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. His legacy of hard work, family love, and perseverance will live on forever.
