

He is survived by his beloved wife of 51 years Marjorie H. Seel, his children Harry Seel Jr (Kim), Bryan E. Seel (Kim), and his daughter Michelle McDonald Bailey (Martin). He is also survived by his Grandchildren Victoria 36, Bryan 32, Hunter 31, Meghan 30, Logan 16 and many great grandchildren. He is also survived by his Brother Frank Seel (Ree), Sister Becky Albright (Norman), Brother Johnny Seel (Linda).
He is preceded in death by his parents George W Seel, (Laura Hoover Seel), His brother George William Seel Jr “Pop” (Ginney), His stepmother Amanda “Mandy” Shelley Seel, and oldest sister Mary Elizabeth Seel Jenkins (Charles).
Harry was an avid outdoorsman and sportsman who loved nothing more than being outside in nature. He loved to Hunt, fish and shrimp and was a member of the Palmetto Gun Club where he truly loved volunteering. He also loved to volunteer at the Ace Basin which fed his love for his state, South Carolina. He was a student of genealogy and spent many hours researching his family tree. His love of the outdoors led to a love of gardening and growing things. He loved to cook, make pickles, and find old recipes. He worked at the Naval Shipyard and Robert Bosch before retiring.
His wife and children have many fond memories of when they had property on Goat Island and shrimped on the intercoastal waterway and at Morris Island.
A visitation will be held at the Carolina Memorial Gardens’ Mausoleum Chapel, located at 7113 Rivers Avenue, N. Charleston, SC 29406, Thursday, May 22, 2025, from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM, followed by a chapel committal service from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM. Entombment will follow thereafter.
