Hazel Hair Collins, 83, of North Charleston passed away peacefully and went to be with the Lord on Sunday, September 3, 2017. She was born November 25, 1933 in Georgia, a daughter of the late Gaston and Essie Hair. She was a long time member of Hanahan Baptist Church. She was predeceased by her husband David and son Larry. She is survived by daughers, Kathy Collins of N. Charleston and Glenda Rebl and husband Matt of Summerville, sons and daughters-in-law, Terry and Debbie Collins of Newport, NC, Michael and Eva Collins of Ridgeville, SC, and daughter-in-law, Deborah Collins of Ladson, sister-in-law, Ericka Hair of N. Charleston. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 2:00 Tuesday, September 5th at Hanahan Baptist Church, 1262 Belvedere Drive, Hanahan, SC. Interment will follow at Carolina Memorial Park. Friends may call at 1:00 at the church before the service. In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to Hanahan Baptist Church. The Collins family is being served by Carolina Memorial Funeral Home.
