Helen Johnston Perry, 82, of Hanahan, South Carolina, wife of the late Earle William Perry went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, May 19, 2016. Her funeral service will be held on Sunday, May 22, 2016 at Highland Park Baptist Church, Hanahan, SC at 2 pm. The family will receive friends at Carolina Funeral Home on Saturday, May 21, from 5:00-7:00pm. Helen was born July 20, 1933 in Conway, South Carolina, daughter of the late Henry Hartford Johnston and the late Doris Johnson Johnston. She attended Conway High School, and retired from the Charleston Air Force Daycare. Helen was survived by her daughter Denise Furlong (Matt) of Gainesville, FL. and her daughter Terri Perry of Hanahan, SC.; grandson Andrew Earle Allen of Gainesville, FL.; a brother Henry Paul Johnston (Frances) of North Charleston, SC; and a host of loving relatives and sympathetic friends.
