James A Wallace

Jim was born on March 3,1954 to Aida (Jackie) and Jimmie Wallace in Paris, Texas.

After graduation from high school, Jim spent 8 years in the Navy as a communication specialist, serving in Pensacola, FL,Alaska and Iceland.

He graduated from Strayer University. He worked in Information Technology In both private sector and government retiring from the US State Department.

In retirement he became a ham radio operator enjoying talking to other ham radio operators both in the US and internationally.

He is a member of Peace Presbyterian Church in Goose Creek, SC.

He is survived by his wife, Marynell Dodd Wallace and daughter Denise Wallace Garcia; sister, Jackie Wallace, and brothers Terry Wallace and Michael Wallace.

He is preceded in death by parents Jackie Wallace and Jimmie Wallace, first wife, Calla Cross Wallace.

Funeral Services will be held at Peace Presbyterian Church, 174 Londonderry Rd, Goose Creek on October 7 at 3 pm, followed by military honors;reception with the family will be held in the fellowship hall following the service. In lieu of flowers donation to Habitat for Humanity of Berkeley County, 1 Belknap Rd, Goose Creek, SC 29445.
