She is survived by her twin sister Janice Overstreet of Jacksonville, Florida, brother William "Billy" Schaffer of Guysmills, Pennsylvania. Daughters Katherine J McKeithan (Paul) of Hanahan, South Carolina, Laura Blanche Cole of James Island, South Carolina. Sons Joey Grammer (Lisa)of North Charleston, South Carolina. David Grammer of Neosho, Missouri and Paul Grammer of Callahan, Florida.
Janet also has 15 grandchildren and many great grandchildren.
A graveside prayer service was held on February 17, 2023, 2 pm at Holy Cross Cemetery, James Island, South Carolina.
