Growing up, Jeanette was surrounded by the tight-knit community of Hanahan, Yeamans Park Presbyterian Church, her adoring parents, and two older brothers. She was a graduate of Hanahan High School, class of 1972.
Jeanette loved the beach, was enthusiastically a Charleston metro native, an avid reader, and adored animals, big and small. She committed her life to being a caretaker and a mother figure to all. Jeanette had one biological son, Adam Croft Broxton, filled a nurturing role with many others, and was a steadfast friend to all that entered her orbit. She was affectionately known as the "cool" aunt to her nieces and nephews and was adored by friends. Jeanette was best friends with her late mother Betty Lee Croft, especially cherishing their time together. Jeanette leaves a lasting impact on all who survive her and was the epitome of southern grace and charm.
Jeanette is survived by her son, Adam Croft Broxton (Christen);
