

Jeffrey “Jeff” Smith Reeves, 52, of Summerville, SC, beloved husband of Beth Reeves, entered into eternal life surrounded by his family on May 20, 2016. As he joins our Lord, a service of celebration and remembrance will be held on Sunday, May 22, 2016, 4:00pm at Faith Assembly of God, Farmington Road, Summerville. The family will receive friends for visitation at the church from 3:00pm until service time. Jeff was born on January 14, 1964 in Charleston, SC; the son of Mr. Charles Smith Reeves and Joyce Smoak Reeves. Jeff loved the Lord, putting his faith and family first. His wife and son were the light of his life. His gracious attitude resonated with many. Jeff’s infectious smile and loving spirit will remain in the hearts of all who knew him. He was a member of Faith Assembly of God, where he was a children’s church leader for over 20 years. He was an avid fisherman and loved spending time on the water. He loved spending time with his family and friends. Jeff was affectionately known as “Big Truck”. Until Jeff’s illness, he was a driver for Southeastern Freight Lines. Jeff is survived by his wife of 25 years, Beth Rutland Reeves of Summerville, SC; one son and daughter-in-law, Tillman and Taylor Reeves of NC; his parents, Charles and Joyce Reeves of Charleston, SC; brother, David (Sherry) Reeves of Charleston, SC; sister, Nancy (Leigh) Stramm of Charleston, SC. He is further survived by his nieces and nephews and many friends he considered to be family.
