A Visitation will be held at 1:00 pm, on Saturday, November 7, 2026, at Carolina Memorial Funeral Home, 7113 Rivers Avenue, North Charleston, SC 29406. The Funeral Service will follow at 2:00 pm, at Carolina Memorial Funeral Home.
Joey was born in Charleston, SC, on November 22, 1988, to Virginia Lynn Lewis. He is the oldest of three sons.
Joey had a passion for cooking and worked in restaurants throughout his life.
He had a great sense of humor and loved to joke with friends and family. As the oldest brother, it was Joey’s responsibility to prank his brothers- a job he adored.
Most of his free time was spent doting on his children, Paisley Winn, Riley Lewis, and Levven Lee. They enjoyed trips to the park, the beach, and the candy aisle of Dollar Tree.
Joey is preceded in death by his daughter, Cheyenne Hope Lewis; his maternal grandfather, Charles Hubert Lewis; and his maternal great-grandparents, Raymond Theodore Hughs and Ruth Virginia Hughs; and paternal grandparents, Bill Crews and Carolyn Crews.
Joey is survived by his daughters, Paisley Winn and Riley Lewis; his son, Levven Lee; brothers, Sammy Mitchell Crews and Matthew Dylan Crews; his parents, Mark and Virginia Crews; maternal grandmother, Linda Lewis; the mother of his daughters, Kendall Winn; his best friend, Bama Jones; and a host of additional family members and friends to cherish his memory.
