Olivia, So sorry to learn of your Mom's passing. She was such a "joy" to know and talk with. Was sad when she moved away but knowing she wanted to be close to you and her grandkids. May God give you comfort at this time.

Joy was named appropriately. I always think of her with a smile because she always had one to share. Time passes so quickly; it has been many years since I have seen Joy.

Her kindness to children was a great gift to them. Whenever she spoke of a child, it was always with happiness or gracious concern. That made her very memorable to me as a special, caring person. It was a privilege to be associated with her in the world of education.

One of Joy's greatest personal loves was her family. Please accept my condolences for her loss. Heaven truly gained a joyful, loving soul.

Your mother was aptly named. Her fierce convictions, her loyalty, her love of life brought Joy to all who knew her. She will be missed.
May you find comfort and peace in knowing and remembering her love and devotion to you was always her first concern.

I new Joy from working at Hendry Park Elementary School. Many memories in the cafeteria at lunchtime. Joy was happy and fun to be around. I drive by the house she lived in every day and think of her. My deepest sympathies to Olivia and the whole family.

Olivia, my heart is broken. I’m saddened to hear of the loss of your Mom. If it weren’t for her match-making skills I would have never met my Mike. Our thoughts are with you and sending hugs to the family

I will always remember Joy such a sweet lady. Every time I drive by the house in Angola I think of her and her laughter and great conversation. She will be missed even though she didn’t live around here. She’s so loved you Olivia. May God wrap his loving arms around you and comfort you and your family
