June Marie Booher Buntin

A visitation will be held from 4:00- 6:00 pm on Wednesday, July 8, 2026, at Carolina Memorial Funeral Home, 7113 Rivers Avenue, North Charleston, SC 29406.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm, on Thursday, July 9, 2026, at Carolina Memorial Funeral Home. Burial will immediately follow at Carolina Memorial Gardens, 7113 Rivers Avenue, North Charleston, SC 29406.

June was born on June 1, 1939, in Danville, Virginia to Lester Frank Booher and Margie Jennings Booher.

She married Billy H. Buntin in 1954 in York, South Carolina. June was a faithful Navy wife as her husband served as a diesel engineman on submarines.

June was a proud employee of Walmart and Montgomery Wards. She retired from Walmart after 15 years.

June is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Billy H. Buntin; her parents, Lester and Margie Booher; and her brother, Roger Booher.

She is survived by her son, Ricky Buntin; granddaughter, Shayna M. Buntin; and a host of friends and extended family to cherish her memory.
