Ms. June P Rabon

June was born on February 27, 1933 in Charleston, SC to the late James Glenn Parish, Sr. and Mary Catherine McAlhany Parish. She is survived by her children, Beth Franklin (Gary) and Michael Rabon; grandchildren, Kathryn Franklin, Jackson Franklin and Cooper Franklin; brothers James Parish, Harry Parish (Frida), Charlie Parish (Cheryl); sister Annie Thompson; sister in law Frances Johnston and numerous nieces and nephews.

June graduated from Rivers High School and retired after 40 years of employment from the Post and Courier. She was a long time member of Friendship Baptist Church.

The family will receive guests at Carolina Memorial Funeral Home, 7113 Rivers Ave., North Charleston, SC 29406 on June 19, 2024, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. A funeral service will follow at 12:00 PM in the Carolina Memorial Chapel. Burial will immediately after at Carolina Memorial Gardens.

The family would like to thank the caregivers at Ashley Gardens and Ashley River for the love and care they showed June over the past two years.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Friendship Baptist Church of North Charleston.
