

Pre-deceased by her husband Norborne A. H. LaFong. They had been married for 46 years. Her parents Theodore R and Mae Thackeray Scott, her son Kenneth Rhett, seven brothers Harold (BoBo), Irvin, Theodore R Jr., Barnard (Barney), Herman, John (J.C.), William (Billy) and one sister Evelyn Cannady.
Survived by seven children, Theodore R (Teddy) III Scott (Jay) of Columbia, Marion LaFong of Summerville, Michael LaFong of James Island, Jean (Cifford) Blanche of Moncks Corner, Mary (Johnny)Sawadske of Manning, Zack (Norma) LaFong of Hanahan and Richard (Cindy) LaFong of Ladson and one sister Patsy Hoard of Columbia.
Beloved by sixteen grandchildren Ronnie, David, Tommy, Jason, Theodore, and Linda Scott, Dawn Parker, Jon and Chad Blanche, Jason, Joey and Andy Sawadske, Chris and Sean Judy, Dylon and Shawna
LaFong. Twenty great grandchildren Jesse, Jarred, Alison, BreeAnna, Brennan, Joselyn, Madison, Justin, Michelle, Katlyn, Ryan, Maryssa, Haley, Lucy, Bella, Maesa, Jace, Makenna, Kylar and Jaxx. Four great great grandchildren Kaleb, Adalyn, Hayden and Jon Christian and several nieces and nephews.
She loved people. she did not like gardening of any kind, she was a stay at home mom that loved her seven children and her husband. Her hobby was cooking and she was a great cook.
There will be a memorial service at Carolina Memorial Funeral Home Chapel, followed by an inurnment at St. Lawrence Cemetery to be announced at a later date.
