Kimberly Ann Legette

Relatives and friends of Kimberly are invited to her Memorial Gathering from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM, Friday, June 26, 2026, at Carolina Memorial Funeral Home, 7113 Rivers Ave., North Charleston, SC 29406.

Kimberly was born in Fairmont, West Virginia, on August 10, 1961. She was the daughter of Ernest and Edna Payne.

She enjoyed traveling with family and friends, especially on cruises with her husband, and created cherished memories. She loved spending time with her daughters and grandchildren, whether shopping, enjoying outings, or simply being together. Kimberly had a passion for live music and fast cars, particularly Camaros. Some of her most treasured memories were weekend trips to Savannah with her daughters to visit her best friend and have their hair done.

A proud and dedicated cheer mom, she enthusiastically supported her two daughters throughout their cheerleading years. Known for her kind and generous spirit, she would do anything for anyone. She never met a stranger and had a special gift for making friends wherever she went, leaving a lasting impression on all who knew her.

Kimberly is survived by her husband, Timothy Legette; daughters, Trista Haynes (John) and Krista Driggers (Darren); grandchildren, Sullivan Driggers, Rhett Haynes, Sawyer Driggers, Colton Haynes and Saylor Driggers; siblings: Carl Alan Payne and Kathy Headrick and was loved by many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Earnest Carl Payne and her brother, Carl Alan Payne.
