

Louise Travis Parker, age 100, of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina passed away on Saturday, August 21, 2021. Louise was born March 27, 1921, in Murfreesboro, Tennessee to the late William Lee Travis and Annie Angeline Brents Travis.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband E. B. Parker and siblings Fred Travis, Elizabeth Travis Gwaltney, Frank Travis, and John Travis.
She is survived by her daughter Cheryl Parker of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, a nephew Richard Travis of Memphis, Tennessee, niece Terry Travis of Winter Park, Florida, and niece Carolyn Gwaltney Midgett of Tullahoma, Tennessee.
Louise was a long-time member of Otter Creek Church of Christ. After moving to South Carolina in 2016, she became a member of Mount Pleasant Church of Christ. She was a graduate of Middle Tennessee State Teachers College, now Middle Tennessee State University. Louise was a retiree from the State of Tennessee Law Enforcement Planning Agency.
A Graveside Service will be held at ten o'clock in the morning on Friday, August 27, 2021, in the Garden of the Good Shepherd of Woodlawn Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in honor of Louise to: Churches of Christ Disaster Relief Effort, Inc.; East Cooper Meals on Wheels; or the charity of your choice.
