Luzviminda & Reynaldo Rodriguez

Lucy was born on July 25, 1936 to Victoriano and Julita Eruma in Laguna, Philippines. After graduating college, she worked as a clerk at the Bureau of Internal Revenue in the Philippines. In 1983, she immigrated to South Carolina with her husband, Reynaldo Rodriguez, and two sons, Caesar and Rhinnaldi Rodriguez.

Lucy worked at a few restaurants in the Charleston area where she discovered her proclivity for cooking. She especially enjoyed cooking and preparing Filipino meals for her family and friends. Being a devout Catholic, she was heavily involved in her church where she helped plan and organize several events. Lucy had a tremendous smile and an exuberant personality that would spread to all of those around her.

In addition to her loving husband, Reynaldo, Lucy is survived by sons, Caesar Rodriguez (Mahalia) and Rhinnaldi Rodriguez (Jennifer); 6 grandchildren, Joshua, Angelica, Jordan, Reilly, Dylan and Grayson and numerous others.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00am on Saturday August 21, 2021 at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church located at 6650 Dorchester Road, North Charleston, SC 29418.
