Lyndon Deneil Porter was born on February 2, 1981, to Alvin and Mattie Porter in North Charleston South Carolina.
Lyndon confessed Christ at an early age.
He graduated from Stratford High School in Goose Creek, South Carolina, in 1999. He joined the United States Navy February 21, 2001 until February 20, 2006. Following his military service, he earned a bachelor’s degree in health science from Excelsior University
Lyndon was a devoted father to his son, Devin Isaiah Porter, and shared a loving co- parenting relationship with Devin’s mother, Ami Moore.
Lyndon enjoyed spending time with family and friends and was a passionate sports fan. He was a dedicated supporter of the Alabama Crimson Tide (ROLL TIDE ROLL) and the San Francisco 49ers, rarely missing an opportunity to cheer on his favorite teams. Lyndon will be remembered for his loving heart, dedication to family, service to his country, and the lasting impact he made on all who knew him.
Lyndon was preceded in death by his grandparents, William and Margaret Murphy, Roosevelt Kelly, aunt Julie Bell Sanders and father-in-law Gerald Deroche.
He leaves to cherish his memory his son, Devin Isaiah Porter; his parents, Alvin and Mattie Porter; his grandmother, Mrs. Johnnie Mae Sanders; his bonus children, Mark, Jared (Caitlin), Jesse, and Mia Peters; lovely mother in law, Sharon Deroche; bonus Grandmother, Mrs. Sarah Edwards; his god daughters Peyton, Melody, and Jaidyn Johnson; former wife, Ginger Porter, his aunts, Barbara Sanders, Shelia Townsend, Farah (Ben) Dates, Sylacauga Al, Marsela Coates, Wendy (Rev. Wes) Smith Montgomery Al. Alesia Kelly (Mark) Nunn, and Deidra (Shawn) Geeter Detroit Michigan; his uncles, Warren Kelly, Roger Kelly, Reginald Kelly all of Detroit Michigan, William (Felecia) Murphy, Lew (Nina) Murphy, Walter Sanders, Clint Sanders, Sylacauga Al and Anthony (Shilia) Patton San Diego, California. Lyndon will be missed by his lifelong friend of 34 Years, Kelvin Johnson (Jenny Brownlee), Navy buddy Timothy Hodge Detriot Michigan and a host of cousins, other relatives, many friends, Class of 1999 Stafford High School and the Tall Pines Crew.
