Mack W. Haselden, 71, of West Ashley, passed away on Monday, October 1, 2019. He was born September 26, 1948, in Hemmingway, SC to the late Wardie and Ruth Haselden.

He retired from the US Air Force Base commissary, and also retired from Doscher's food stores where he worked for 50 years. Mack was a very family oriented man, who loved his children, grandchildren, great grand child, siblings, and nieces and nephews. He would always lend a helping hand to anyone, but went above and beyond for his family. He will be remembered for his selflessness, contagious laughter, huge heart, and how hard working he was. He touched the lives of many people.

Mack is survived by one daughter, Christine Haselden, of Charleston, six grandchildren, Vernon Salisbury IV, Ashley Warren, Jacob Salisbury, Taylor Warren, Tatum Vance, and Cameron White, one great-grandson, Kalem Cooper, and two brothers, Ronald Haselden and Wesley Haselden.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Vanessa Haselden, two Sisters, Dean Scarborough and Joyce Scarborough, and four brothers, Leonard, Anthony and Joe Haselden.

The family will receive friends on Monday, October 7, 2019 from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm at Carolina Memorial Funeral Home, (7113 Rivers Avenue, in North Charleston) with a funeral service following at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of the Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Carolina Memorial Park cemetery.
