Margaret Jordan

Margaret Crocker Jordan, 94, long time resident of North Charleston, passed away on Wednesday, August 31, 2016 in Camden, SC. She was born on September 24, 1921 in Lexington County, SC, to the late William Henry Crocker and Gertrude Corley Crocker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth LeRue Jordan, Sr.; her brothers, Tallie J. Crocker, William H. Crocker and C. LaFar Crocker, sister, Kathrine C. Lindsay, and grandson, David Shelton. Surviving are her sister, Louise C. Leitner; daughters, Margaret (“Peggy”) J. Shelton (Neil), Barbara (“Bobbie”) J. Wynn (Jerry); and sons, Kenneth LeRue Jordan, Jr. (Bobbie), William J. Jordan; daughter-in-law, Melody W. Jordan; sister-in-law, Trina (William) Crocker; grandchildren, Rick Wynn, Philip Wynn, Lisa W. Pool, Jeffrey Shelton, Kevin Shelton, Elizabeth Jordan, LeRue Jordan, and Sara J. Coyle. Also surviving are 15 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. A funeral service in her honor will be held on Saturday, September 3, 2016, at 2:00pm in the Mausoleum Chapel at Carolina Memorial Park. The family will receive friends in visitation from 1:00pm until service time, also to take place in the Mausoleum Chapel.
