Ellie, Vicky, Grady, Edward, Rhonda and families,
Words are not enough to describe Margaret. Margaret was Margaret, Mrs. McLeod, Maggie, Margaret Ann, Magoo, Mama, Granny, aunt, sister, Gamecock fan, and the greatest potato salad maker. There shall never be another person to pass through this life quite like her. While she is no longer physically with us, she will always live on . Her sweet spirit floods our hearts. The way she talked and her laugh lives in our memory banks. We all loved the fact that one of our kids shared her birth day but we will always wonder how she could remember everyone's name, families and every occasion or event in between. One of the best things I learned from Margaret (and Ellie) was to show up. Whether it was a ball game or a wedding, a sad occasion or a celebration or a just "cuz." If you knew them, you knew they would show up. No matter what you said or asked, Margaret's motto was: "We'll be there." And they always were. The greatest thing she taught me was selflessness. Nothing was ever about her but always about others. She modeled it and didn't need to use words. I have watched her the past 40 years as she did every thing big or small, with great love and usually her infamous laugh. My heart is full and sad at the same time because of the love and legacy she leaves to everyone who knew her.
Love, Mary Oglesby

Ellie and kids - I was shocked to see that Margaret had passed away. Ellie I never saw her so happy until she married you. You two knew how to enjoy life. Tessie was waiting right along with Theresa when Margaret arrived to get her wings. Please let the kids know that you all are in my prayers. I think of you often - because you always had an open door to all.
My Deepest Condolences .

Aunt Margaret was as much a grandma to me as my Granny. My life is filled with cherished memories of celebrating moments in life with her or just being at her and Uncle Ellie’s house. I will miss her so much. My love and prayers are with you all.
