Maria Murphy

Maria is loved by many. Each person she loved, she gave a little piece of her heart to. Maria was the person who you didn’t need to call if you needed something; somehow, it was an instinct for her to know when/where she was needed. Maria was a loving mother, grandmother, aunt, and daughter. Her mission in life was to keep all of her family together. This was a mission she so beautifully completed. She was the glue to our family.

Maria Elaina Murphy is survived by her four daughters, Susan Osterdock, 37, Amber Rosario, 30, Amanda Hernandez, 24, and Ashley Johnson, 18; her three sons, Richard Johnson, 36, Johnathon Cammack, 31, and Justin Soderberg, 24. Also surviving are her eleven grandchildren, two nieces, sister, Catherine Rodman, 52, and her loving mother, Rosemary Connolly, 82.

A funeral ceremony will be held in the chapel of Carolina Memorial Park Funeral Home at 1:00pm on Thursday, July 16, 2016, with the burial following thereafter. The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service from 12:00pm until service time. We love you with all of our hearts, souls, minds, bodies, and spirits. Until we meet again, may you rest in eternal peace.
