

Martha J. Robinson, 92, of North Charleston, SC, entered into eternal rest on Saturday morning, February 28, 2015. Martha was the wife of the late Charles B. Robinson. The relatives and friends of Mrs. Martha J. Robinson are invited to attend her funeral services at twelve o’clock noon at Carolina Memorial Funeral Home on Saturday, March 7, 2015, in the chapel. Interment will follow at Carolina Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Saturday morning from eleven a.m. until noon at the funeral home chapel. Martha was born November 6, 1922, in Oxford, AL to the late Stephen L. Johnson and Othella B. Johnson. Martha was a member of Cooper River Baptist Church. Martha was a devoted, loving homemaker for her husband and children. She was a Sunday school teacher for Cooper River Baptist Church for over 40 years in various departments. She participated and guided any activities her children drew her into. She was a loving wife to her husband for 63 years and supported him through their military life and retirement years. Martha is survived by her children: a son, Stephen C. Robinson (Patricia) of Chesapeake, VA, daughters, Cynthia R. Vinson of Jonesboro, GA, and Kathy R. Smith of Denver, CO, 5 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to: The Shriners Hospital or JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation).
