Mary Frances Lane

Relatives and friends of Mary Lane are invited to attend her Funeral Service at 2:00 PM, Saturday, September 5, 2026, at Carolina Memorial Funeral Home, 7113 Rivers Ave., North Charleston, SC 29406. Burial will follow in Carolina Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until the time of service on Saturday.

Mary, fondly known as Doodle, MeMe, MeMa, Ms. Mary, and Ma; was born on July 19th, 1950, to Sadie and Earl Faircloth in Loris, SC.

Mary was a happy soul; her laughter was as infectious as her smile. She had a beautiful heart and gave it freely to everyone she met. Her family was her greatest treasure. She never turned down an invitation to go shopping and had a sharp eye for a bargain. She will be greatly missed.

Mary is survived by her daughter, Kathy Lane of Summerville; her son, Dale Lane (Summer) of Ladson; her grandson, Jackson Lane; granddaughters, Marissa Lane and Britanee Roberson; nieces, Renay Hardee (Chris) of Loris, and Melissa Lambert (Wesley) of Simpsonville. She is also survived by many more nieces and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Lane and her sweet sister, Earlene Long.
